Wedding Invitation Art

So yeah.. I got married this past October for those who may not have known. Yay! Marriage!

Anyhoo.. I decided to do something a little different for my invitations. I painted an art nouveau style watercolor of the letter O (my new last name is Oestreicher pronounced "ay-striker") and included a copy of the painting printed on heavyweight watercolor paper with each invitation (see other pics).

The dragonfly represents me cause I love dragonflies and the turtle represents my husband Jason cause he loves turtles. Yay.. all mushymush.. ;;

It is graphite, acrylic and watercolor on hotpressed watercolor paper.
